Over the years, these visitors contributed significantly to the research and education programs as well as outreach goals to the university. Ph.D. Candidates

We consider applications for Ph.D./M.S. program at any time. We particularly invite candidates with a solid fundamental background in the area of pavement and materials, nano materials, micromechanics, and discrete/finite element methods. Current students:

  1. Mr. Siyu Chen (Ph.D. Student): Rubber-modified asphalt materials, Analysis of permeability and porosity of asphalt mixture, and discrete element method (DEM)
  2. Mr. Lingyun You (Ph.D. Student): Molecular dynamic (MD) simulation, Foamed asphalt mixes, Chip-seal application, Finite element analysis (FEA), and Pavement structure analysis
  3. Mr. Dongdong Ge (Ph.D. Student): Recycled asphalt pavements, Aging analysis of asphalts, and Extraction of rubber particles from asphalt mixtures
  4. Mr. Xiaodong Zhou (Ph.D. Student): Intelligent compaction simulation by using discrete element method (DEM), and Foamed asphalt mixes
