Tom Auer and Jake Musser are avid young birders, holding life list totals of 355 and 450, respectively. Both are pointing toward careers in ornithology as they head off to college in the fall. Tom and Jake know the best places to bird during the migration and will work hard to provide tour members with good opportunities to spot local favorites. This tour will take place at the time of year when the forest crown has not yet developed, leaving an open and airy woodland, often with profuse carpets of wildflowers.
