James
M. Jabara, Class of '50
Mr. James M. Jabara, a 1950 civil engineering
graduate of Michigan Tech, is owner of J.M.J. Properties,
a real estate development and management firm in Plymouth,
MI. After graduation, James entered the U.S. Army. He left
the Army in 1953 and began working at Commonwealth Associates,
Inc. as a structural steel designer. In 1956 he went to Williams
and Works in Sanitary Engineering. From 1959 to 1976 he was
involved with Enviro-Fab, Inc. Mr. Jabara was Vice-President
and Co-owner of Enviro-Fab. In 1976 he founded J.M.J. Properties.
He has been a City Commissioner and Mayor of the City of Plymouth,
MI. A long-time supporter of Michigan Tech, he is a Life Trustee
of the Michigan Tech Fund, serving ten years on the Board
of Trustees. He has a record of outstanding civic service,
being a member of numerous civic organizations, clubs and
societies. |
